1.0 Background and Purpose
On 21st March 2026, Retizen Organization conducted a youth training session at Elgon View
School, Darfur Centre, as part of its ongoing youth empowerment program. This session was
among the final stages of the training series and aimed at strengthening the participantsโ
understanding, skills, and overall engagement. The training was designed to provide a
supportive learning environment where young people from different communities could
interact, share ideas, and build capacity for personal and community development.
2.0 Training Summary
The training session began at 10:00 a.m. and proceeded successfully until 3:00 p.m. A total of
87 participants attended, showing a good turnout and strong representation from different
communities. The session was lively and well-coordinated, with participants demonstrating
high levels of discipline, respect, and attentiveness throughout the day.
This training stood out due to the energy and competitiveness displayed by the youths.
Participants actively contributed during discussions and showed a clear willingness to learn.

Rainfall towards the end of the training limited the possibility of extending the session

continue even longer; however, the weather made it necessary to conclude the training as
scheduled.
