Bilqis Mohamed is a fourth-year student at Alupe University, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Applied Statistics with Computing, alongside a course in Digital Marketing from Alisons. A self-trained graphic designer, Bilqis is passionate about using design to make an impact. Was a dedicated volunteer with Boarder Hubkenya, she advocated for girl child rights and menstrual hygiene. Additionally, she has been an active member of WOSWA (Women Students Welfare Association), empowering female students and young mothers. Committed to mental health awareness, Bilqis has also participated in training focused on countering violent extremism, hosted by Yaden. Now taking up a new challenge as a Communication Assistant at Retizen where I hope to support Retizen amplify their mission of empowering youth and women through strategic communication and engagement.
