At Retizen, we believe that charity begins at home, and that the youth are the cornerstone of our future. This is why all our projects focus on empowering young people to become better citizens and the leaders of tomorrow. Our members understand that transformation and activism begin within us, radiating outward to make a difference in our communities, our country, and the world.

We firmly believe in the power of dialogue and constructive engagement to address the challenges we face. Through our youth barazas, we bring together leaders and communities to engage in meaningful discussions and find collaborative solutions to everyday issues. We are ready to roll up our sleeves and work hard to make our communities better.

One of our key initiatives at Retizen is bridging the digital divide for young people in rural areas. We achieve this through our resource hubs, where each day, young people from rural Kenya come to access free internet and computers, enabling them to stay informed and seize the vast opportunities available to them. Additionally, we offer training in entrepreneurship skills, equipping them to build a decent living for themselves.

We remain committed to open-minded learning, continuous improvement, and intentional growth, both as individuals and as an organization.
